600 Light Controllers are now available. These controllers are the same size as the 450 controller and pack the power to drive 1 watt LED’s in a small package.

The V1.1 450 Controller has 11 outputs just like it’s bigger brother but is limited to the power supplied by the Nano which is max 40mA per port with a total combined output of 200mA. There is a single RC input that also caries the input voltage from the RX. This controller is great for smaller 450 and 500 size birds that use standard 3mm and 5mm LED’s.














The V1.1 600 Controller has 11 outputs just like it’s bigger brother but is limited to 1 watt LED’s. There is a single RC input that caries the control Signal and a second input used to power the board from a 3 Amp BEC which is included.












The V1.1 High Power Controller has 11 outputs each with up to 1 amp of power. There are two RC inputs, two 5-7v BEC inputs (Single JST connector will be used when purchased with a 5 amp BEC below) and a dimmer jumper for the position lights. We recommend  1 watt LEDs for lights that are on all the time such as Position and Landing lights. Low duty cycle outputs such as Warning, Beacon, and Strobe lights can use 3 watt LED’s for maximum visibility.















The V2 450 Controller has the same specs as the V1.1 controller but has a few new features. We have added a LiPo alarm to monitor any LiPo pack on your aircraft from 2s to 12s (LiFe up to 14s). We didn’t stop there, we also added Bluetooth capability so you don’t have to connect via USB to make changes to your controller! You must have a PC, Mac or Windows Tablet with Bluetooth to use this feature. Bluetooth Module sold separately.

High Power BEC for the High Power Light Controller.












All High Power BECs will be tested and set to 5.0V output which will supply 4.3V to the LED outputs on the High Power Controller. BECs are supplied with 22 AWG 100mm Silicon pigtails for battery connection. Recommended for use with a 2s to 4s LiPo.


If you would like a different BEC output voltage please let us know during Check Out and we will be happy to adjust the output voltage prior to shipping. This BEC is intended for use with the High Power Light Controller Only and not for powering critical RC systems.


Note on BEC supplied with the 600 Light Controller: These BEC’s are smaller then the one used for the High Power Controllers and are pre set to 5.25V and will supply 4.3V to the LED Outputs. Must be powered using a 3s LiPo.


Firmware is field upgradable. Rest assured, you can upgrade your firmware to the latest version using PC or Mac with just a couple of clicks giving you the latest capabilities.


Programming is done within the GUINO Dashboard by MadsHobye (http://www.hobye.dk) allowing for simple “Click and Drag” programing. No need to learn Arduino! Best of all, you can hit the “Reset” button!
